Youth for a Better America offers opportunities for our teens to earn a scholarship by participating in our program. The way the scholarship program works is that for every year of service the teens participate in our program they are eliglbe for a $1000 scholarship. They can earn the $1000 scholarship per year of service up to four years, for a total of $4000. The scholarship will be paid to the college or university and can be used for tuition, fees, books, etc.
In the event we don’t have an eligible teen in our program and funds are available, we will award the Scholarship to a teen outside of the YFABA program. The teens outside the program will need to be in good standing with the High School and submit an essay that will be reviewed. Once we review the essays we will select a teen to receive the scholarship.
